The Board of the English Speaking Union (Queensland) regrets to announce that unforeseen circumstances have caused the postponement of the 2019 Roly Sussex Short Story Competition. The Competition will not be held in 2019.
In past years authors have looked forward to submitting entries to the competition. The judges have acknowledged the quality of entries received and were looking forward to another year of competitive short stories.
The English Speaking Union (Queensland) is preparing to launch the 2020 Roly Sussex Short Story Competition in April 2020. Authors should regularly review this page for the latest updates. Notifications will also be sent via digital marketing platforms.
