Three of the Grand Final contestants in the ESU’s Secondary School Public Speaking Competition had another chance to shine on Saturday 12 September, at Miegunyah House Museum. Members and friends gathered to enjoy a delicious high tea in the convivial atmosphere provided by the Queensland Women’s Historical Association, which owns and runs Miegunyah.
This event provided an opportunity for these outstanding speakers of the 2026 competition to demonstrate their excellent communication skills, as well as their passion for their topics. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable afternoon, combining hospitality with an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of these talented young speakers.
